I liked the character’s stories. I think they learned about themselves through communicating to each character and seeing theirreactions and eventually took hold of the emotions.
Character interaction.

Wonderfully written and performed…at times heartbreaking, but always returning to redemptive hope. Loved that Sybil, in the end, stepped out of her comfort zone, and lived her life to the fullest.
I didn’t know what to expect, and while the book was high recommended, I often find so many narrators distracting and confusing. But not only did I adore being touched deeply by the story, the narration was exceptional. I highly recommend.
Loved how all the stories interrwined. The narrators and voices are perfect. Top of my list for 2025!
So glad I listened because the narration was so good. Amazing the impact letter writing can have and so many relationships started and life that evolved through her penmanship. Beautiful story. Stick with it. The characters evolved so beautifully.
A deeply compelling story written by the way of letters and emails and spoken beautifully by a cast of actors as narrators who deeply expressed the writers feelings. One of the best books I’ve ever read
I re-listened a couple months later and really enjoyed the subtitles. It still pulled at my heart at the end, too. The narrator was perfect.
The Correspondent is a very creatively done story. The narrator and the voices were intriguing and captivating. One of the best Audible books that I’ve listened to.
