A beautiful story, told with sensitivity, compassion, and a deep love for the human spirit. I laughed, I cried, and I fell in love with every single character. Excellent acting!

Beautifully written story with multigenerational relationships and letter writing at its core-grief and love intertwined throughout emphasizing the more we love, the more we will grieve when we lose the person/sense/object we love.
simple story with some reaches at a literary rather than pop fiction . middle of the road for me. i tried to trade it in when i saw where it was going, but couldn’t.
I couldn’t put this down. A small little story about a woman who writes letters, to her family, her friends, famous authors. She corresponds with people thru hand written letters, not phone calls or texts, occasionally an email exchange. Thru these letters we learn about the real person behind the letters. Her life, the things..
This is by far one of the best audiobooks I’ve listened to. I loved the narrators. I loved this as Virginias first book. Can’t wait to read more from them.
I’m of a generation that writes letters and thank you notes but also emails. Bravo on this narration. And the story is so moving and feels so real. Real people. Sigh
I’m afraid I’m not a writer so my review won’t do this book service. The writing is superb and consuming, the audible readers are acting the part as though it is their own story as well. Following them all through the years was so enjoyable. I’m sorry the story has ended.
Loved it! my interest in genealogy enjoyed the back stories and the similarity of the 2 sister’s appearance and maladies.
This story is a gradual unfolding of a person’s life. It is filled with many relatable moments and people. It is very well told and I highly recommend it.
The story was beautifully written. The digs at Trump were unnecessary and added nothing to the story and should have been left out.
