I truly loved everything about this book. The beautiful characters, storylines, and tribute to the art of letter writing. I was sad for it to come to an end.
I haven’t figured out halfway through, but then the end wrapped up all the pieces that I didn’t figure out.And it was a really great story.
I didn’t think I would enjoy the letter writing style of this book, but I loved it! I will definitely listen to this book again.
I find this narrator overly breathly and occasionally whiny, which is distracting. The story itself is lots of fun! Not gory or sexualized, but great tension, interesting characters, nice twists. It ends in a cliff hanger, which I generally don’t like, but I’ll read the second part. Over all, good light fun.
Powerfully written. It took me a while to adapt to the epistolary format, and was worth the effort. The most thought provoking book I’ve listened to in a very long time. Highly recommend.
This is one of those books that makes you want to curl up with a mug of tea on a cloudy day in your comfiest seat. I loved all the characters, especially Sybil. I miss her.
From the performance, to the plot. It was such a precious book to listen to. The voice actors absolutely embodied the story as well. I really enjoyed this, it brought light and joy to me while listening!
In 7 years of listening to monthly books on Audible, this is a stand out. With its multitudes of wonderful narrators, including the gloriously narrated main character, all of the action is described in letters and emails. Had I picked this up in book form, I might have been turned off, although I’m sure it..
