What a unique way to tell a story of a life! At first I was thrown by the details of the addresses at the beginning of each letter. But after just a few letters, I was drawn in.

In the beginning I didn’t like Sibyl… but it was because there is a Sybil in me.

Writing in depth to create believable characters! Format was amazing to get so much emotional and deep understanding of each person -readers were exceptional!! Loved every bit and piece of it. Hated to see it end. Encouraged me to write more letters. Very grateful to have had the opportunity to hear this on Audible !!

Wow. This keeps me thinking from the very first chapter. Just when I thought I had it figured out, the author throws in a twist. Highly recommended. The vocalization is also great.

Definitely my favorite book of the year probably my favorite book of the decade. I’m so glad I chose to do it as an audiobook. It was so well done the narration was amazing. I just didn’t want it to end. It just felt like life.

Loved the language and the mechanics of letters. Sybil divulged her heart and her concerns.

Enjoyed this Audible presentation of “The Correspondent.” A magnificent book told in the twilight of a strong woman’s life.
