It’s hard to describe this book, I didn’t think I’d enjoy the format but I did. The performance is great and as noted, it’s just a beautiful read.

Great storyline kept me hooked and trying to solve the mystery! The performance of the book was great too. Will def read another of her stories, as this was my first one.

You do not have to be a baby boomer to enjoy this book although I am. It is one of the most insightful books that I have read. Everyone’s journey is different but we gain wisdom and perspective as we age. The story of Sybil’s life is captured through letters in the most beautiful way…
I don’t give 5 stars unless there’s a reason. This had a great chance of failure because of its format, BUT IT IS BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN AND FLOWS LIKE A WARM BREEZE….. thank you
Kind of a silly storyline, but still a great read. If you listen to this audiobook, they do such a good job of the narration and sound effects.
I thoroughly enjoyed this moving story. The characters were so human and deep, and it’s amazing how they came to life through letters. Highly recommend.

I’m going out on a limb here: It was unbearably tedious. The format is ambitious, but so very slow-moving. It simply didn’t draw me in – and the ever-present ‘introductions’ to each piece of correspondence (date, to from, etc) is time consuming and distracting. Get to it, already!
