I loved the depth of this book and a creativity and how it was told. It was such a pleasure to listen to and I was left with thoughts of life and death and everything in between.
What a beautiful book

I loved listening to this book. I loved that the different letter writers had different voices. I loved the quotable quotes and gaining knowledge that writing down words are so much more everlasting than words spoken. This book has made my efforts to write, whether it be in letters, journals, cards..more personal and more important…
I truly loved this book! I felt like I was listening to stories from my friend who is now 90. I’m totally going to hit this for her, do you have large print?
I enjoyed the book, but I have to admit that it took me sometime to appreciate the style of writing. Specifically, it was tough to keep track of the characters and timeline until about 1/3-1/2 of the way through. It was a great story.
I loved hearing voices of the characters and saying their names at the end of their letters. Therefore I could follow the stories easily!
The audio delivery of multiple voices for all of the characters was so well done. It really added to the depth of feeling and knowing the characters. I cried, I laughed, I cried and through it all it was like a nostalgic hug from yesteryear on how relationships are the fabric of one’s life. Well..
Compelling life story and enjoyable being from Maryland . Loved the atonement and true friendships she nurtured.
A very entertaining story that was easy to start and stop listening to in an incredibly hectic phase of my life, due to the format of letters. Quite enjoyable. Although she had no British accent, I cast Sybil as Dame Judith Dench! She fit the role beautifully!
