Unfamiliar territory and lots of serendipity and the bad guys keep their hats on. I haven’t decided if I want to continue the series.
This is not my usual book genre but I felt like I needed something lighthearted to listen to while I was cleaning up the yard over a few weekends from the hurricane damage, and this was it. I think what made it so enjoyable for me, for the most part, were the performances. Noah Reid..
The story was a fun sweet ride. The characters were well developed and relatable. Narration was amazing. The two leads had incredible audio chemistry, if that’s a thing. The story itself was a fun innocent romance. It had a bit of sci-fi, but that was not the main theme.
Stumbled upon this and saved it for a rainy day. I’m obsessed and looking forward to more of Cara’s Bastone’s Audiobooks.
I already fell in love with Mikey before June did when I was half way into the story. The performances of the two protagonists are stunning, and the story is so intriguing.
I liked the unique story, character development and growth and the performances were very good. For me, I would have liked a little more romance and at least a “we finally made it together and found love -kiss”.
I did not expect to enjoy this. It was a cute story. I’m glad I took the time to try it. Cheesy but fun.
I wasn’t sure at first and tbh only got this because it had Noah Reid in it but omg it’s adorable and funny and heartwarming and I loved it.
