Narrator has affected tone. The format of just reading letters is not interesting or appealing as a book. Letters as reference to main story ok but as the story is so dull. Narrator just drones on and on.

Was a fun little listen. It’s a cozy mystery with spooky paranormal vibes. Loved it. A year round haunted house in a desert town was unique and I loved that. Wish there was one near me!

Highly recommend this unusual and fantastic book. The narration is fantastic. I was often in tears.

Good story line. Hearing from multiple points of view, piecing together a story line, that makes you want to keep listening to hear how it plays out.

The narration for this book was fantastic! The story was unique and really grabbed my attention! I loved it!

This book kept my attention throughout. I think it’s a very clever way to write. Highly recommend! Narration was excellent as well! I wish I had been penpals with Sybil!

Definitely not what I expected and it took a while for me to really get into it. But in the end it was good.

It definitely helps that each character has a different voice in the audiobook. It’s much enjoyable than reading the book
