I really enjoyed the letter-writing style of this novel. I love the writer’s perspective on life and the emphasis placed on the fleeting nature of the life we all share. It serves as a reminder to slow down and enjoy the little things. Who really knows what happens after death?

There were some concerns about the style, telling a story through a series of letters but the author was able to develop authentic characters through these exchanges. I appreciated the author creating an imperfect lead character that made this such a touching human story — highly recommend
