I have never before read a novel in the form of written letters. The author did a spectacular job of keeping the storyline flowing from beginning to end. I highly recommend.

Getting to know all the characters then seeing how it comes together! Amazing and delightful! A must to read !

What a lovely book. I loved the way it was told and felt eager to “receive” each letter.

Sybil Van Antwerp tells her story through the many people with whom she corresponds. You get bits and pieces of her life throughout the book.

Although it does all come together in the end it is not easy to make it through this book. The constant addresses and email references are quite distracting and annoying. Civil, the main character, is really not very likable until you hear her backstory. I persisted with this book because it is our book club..
