The reader is great. The storyline itself has so much potential. The book would be so good if it weren’t for the obvious lack of revision and editing. The amount of time things become repetitive is just mind boggling. I will force myself to finish it because I paid for it but omg this could have been so much better if it were properly edited and revised. There is a clear lack of experience in the ghost readers or the writer refusing to edit the same sentence out over and over. In my opinion, I can see the repetition is supposed to convey urgency and the danger of a situation, but it’s a book. We don’t need to hear the same warning over and over to the point where it becomes drawn out and bloated. Then the moments where the narrator conveys something just for the protagonist to say the same thing again 5 minutes later…. Why? Just…. Why???? Edit this book and resell it without the bloat and you’ll have an amazing experience for your readers/listeners!
