I have ADHD and I have trouble focusing on audiobooks. I almost didn’t download this book because I thought the cover looked a bit too cheesy for my taste. I only downloaded the book because I had credits to spare and didn’t have much time to make a choice. Despite my difficultly paying attention to audiobooks, I found myself completely mesmerized by the narrator. His skills brought a life and and an extra level of humor that I just wouldn’t have been able to get with just reading the book. The story itself is very much an DnD style comedy thriller that becomes more serious as the story progresses. In the past two months I’ve binged listened to all of these books and I’m currently on book 7.
