I won’t say that this is classic literature. it’s not even the ‘best’ book I’ve read all year. But this series IS, by far, the most *fun* set of books I’ve listened to, maybe ever.
On one level, it’s a silly story, with a never ending supply of the ridiculous. It makes me laugh with the unexpected craziness. But other times, it hits you with surprising emotional depth, and characters that feel genuine, with real growth and development. And the audio performance is absolutely top notch, incredibly well done.
I highly recommend you pick up this series, and give it a chance. You’ll have a blast.
