The monologues on morality sound like how I used to think when I was a broody teen. I liked this series for the comical ridiculousness of the story and the characters. Seems like it’s trying to become serious and it doesn’t work.
Additionally, it’s become far too complex. I can fast forward entire chapters that drone on about some minute detail of the constantly changing rules and not miss anything.
