This is the first time that I have ever had to speed up the narrator to make a story tolerable. I had to go 1.6 just to combat the droning tone.
And this story seems to have been written by an Edgelord for edgelords. So many ch angst and internal drama. Not saying that people don’t genuinely feel this way, but it feels like too much.
At least for me.
Perhaps this is one of those books that are actually better to read than to listen to. I don’t know.
