Jamie is the jokester of the group. He comes across as a playboy type who doesn’t take anything too seriously. That is until Madison enters the picture. She avoids him and plays hard to get (not on purpose) but she has her reasons she stays away. Jamie is alpha and protective and he chips away at her resistance. Madison for her part continually gets herself in situations that she needs to be rescued from. I wanted to smack my forehead every time she did something that put her alone somewhere knowing there is someone following her. There is sensitive subject matter but this isn’t a dark book. I’d also consider it light overall. I wish the main characters were fleshed out a little more. Especially given Madison’s past, maybe then I would have connected with her more. I just needed to see what she had been through vs told what happened to her. I did like the scenes where they all hung out in a group!

Narration was perfect!
