I stumbled upon this author by chance and I have to say I am soooooooo freaking glad I did, each book I read is different and unique and keeps me interested from the beginning to the end.
I love these worlds S.E. can create and be so utterly weird yet cool and different. A place I wish really excited. Then you add in these characters and I am hooked.
Riley is not afraid to be who she is. I loved that even though she is surrounded by these beings that look nothing like her she doesn’t cower. She doesn’t wimp out. She sucks it up and makes the best out of every situation.
I love that King Vox has to really fight for Riley’s attention and affection. Haha if you have read other books S.E. does this with her heroines it makes for a funny and entertaining book. I love that our Hero, can’t just be all smexy and strong and me man you my female and she does whatever he wants.. Heck no all of these heroines are take charge strong females.
And the narration love it can’t ask for better. On to book 2!
