This story follows on the heels of three earlier books and includes the characters you’ve come to love. But the plot of this installment is quite different from previous books in the series, and I LOVED it!
It digs deeply into planetary exploration, alien biology, and interesting new cultures. I highly recommend it to fans of the series.
