Any additional comments?
I love this story. Maybe more than the first, which I thought would be impossible. I laughed, I sighed, I cried, and I was left with a full heart and a smile on my face.

I adore the voices Joel Leslie does in order to bring these characters to life. He uses such emotion, giving such depth and nuance to the story, it’s quite simply a treat to listen to!

Joel captures every nuance of feeling from Charlie’s inner worry to his fear of losing Travis. There’s a scene in this that is so charged, so brilliantly acted, that I had tears streaming down my face as my heart broke for Charlie and Travis in that moment.

Yes, Red Dirt Heart 2 has a little more angst than RDH1, but it’s deliciously done. It’s like a perfectly planned meal with every offering only serving to enhance the whole.

Even though the story is entirely from Charlie’s first person POV, the listener still gets a really clear idea of Travis and the other characters in the story.

I love that Charlie accepts who he is and grows into the man he’s meant to be.

A+ narration here and definitely going into my auto-rotation!

I’m now waiting impatietly for the Red Dirt Heart 3 audio!
