I have listened to Kevin Pierce before. I think he does a good job bringing stories to life.
I Don’t know if this is C.A. Rudolph’s first book or not but I know he can improve. The story idea was a good one. The execution was not bad but more than a little disjointed. The end was expected but was still in the middle of the story. The epilogue belonged at the beginning or maybe somewhere else in the story. It made no sense as an epilogue because it was just more back story.
Overall I found the story very engaging and want to hear the rest of the story. Everyone has to start somewhere and this was a pretty good beginning.
