This story was what I needed. It was slow paced, quiet, and felt like a glimpse into the life of a woman I will never know. Seeing the world through her eyes briefly was refreshing even if frustrating at times. There are sad parts to the book, and the death of an animal is described in more detail than I would have liked, but overall I would recommend this to anyone who wants a book to just let their body relax to. I am really glad I just randomly decided to give this one a try. It left me feeling wistful and grateful for the life I am living. My sincere gratitude to the author for having shared this with us.
Three cheers for the neighbor! Such a gentle soul. Easily my favorite character, followed closely by Melissa and Felix.
