This book was written in a way that let us and the main character, Sybil, examine an imperfect life. On first glance we could have assumed that Syble might be someone who is difficult to like, let alone care deeply for. It is a journey of self reflection. Encouraging all of us to re-evaluate our first impressions of Syble (and maybe other people we know). I came away understanding why she had many who loved her deeply.
