I love a good werewolf/shifter book.. add in the action and romance.. this was definitely a 5 star series for me. This review may contain spoilers, so read at your own risk.
For this first book, I really enjoyed the introduction of Ness and her situation. You could tell her and Evelyn have this unbreakable bond that continues through the whole series. I was NOT a fan of her aunt and uncle.. but that was the point of them. I did luv how her and Everest jumped right into their friendship since they were family and close when they were younger. At first Ness held back a lot with many of the people in the pack but I did like how eventually she started to trust some of them and was able to build friendships considering everything that has happened in her past.
Oh the boys!! I love a good romance in the mix.. and with a few eligible men she could make connections with.. the main two are PERFECT. I really enjoyed the build up with her and Liam. She was able to get through what happened in the past and open up to him, and him to her.
Couldn’t wait for book 2 so I dove right in!
