Would you consider the audio edition of Hot Wired to be better than the print version?
I haven’t read the print version, but I do know the audible performance is pretty great.
What did you like best about this story?
Marie is impossibly cute, and I adored her right from the start. She’s such a nerd, and so brilliant but out of touch, it’s delightful. The storyline has lots of room for funny moments, which makes listening a lot of fun.
What about Angie Hickman’s performance did you like?
The narrator does a pretty good job with male and female voices. I would only have one critique, which is that d voice of the female character can be a little babyish. She did a great job of capturing the story.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I loved this book right away. I even grabbed earbuds so I could keep listening when I had to go shopping.
Any additional comments?
Everything about the story is charming. It’s highly enjoyable, both Marie and Jared are lovable. I liked this book so much, that when there is a teaser at the very end for the next book I went to look for it right away. (It isn’t available yet, so I’m buying the Kindle version.) This is a voluntary review of an audiobook gifted by the author and performer.
