This book wasn’t my fav. I did the audio and the narration was okay, but I didn’t love the woman’s voice. It made the FMC seem much younger than I think was intended.
The story starts with Daphne coming to her friends house for the holidays and we find out she has a major crush on her best friends dad.
I didn’t love the writing in this book from “beefy hands” to some other adjectives the author used I just didn’t love the wording.
Overall the MC and the FMs story plays out and I like that he took care of her and I liked that things without with the best friend and fathers daughter and their overall relationship.
