Wow, Nikki Ash never ceases to amaze me with the stories she creates and her way with words, penning this impressive story. A beautiful romance that captivates your attention and tugs at your heartstrings the entire time, perfect for one sitting, though it is so good you will want to make it last. Life had not been easy for Natalie and her little girl dreams of finding her prince charming died in adulthood with the men she met and a less than ideal situation, but the only one she knew. Then her life takes a turn, and she thinks she may have met her prince charming, Liam and despite only being in her life for only a few wonderful days, it was life changing. Liam gave her the encouragement she needed to pursue her dreams, but that was not all he left her with. I loved how everything played out in this book, with the perfect balance of drama, low angst, some heartwarming moments, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Nikki Ash, thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 Cecily Foster and Christian Leatherman were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life, and they did a fabulous job voicing each. I loved how they took each role and owned it, sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters to sound. Perfectly embodying Natalie, Foster showcased her personality naturally; similarly, Leatherman’s portrayal of Liam was equally fantastic. Both were great performing the roles of the side/secondary characters too. Their tone and pacing were ideal, and their ability to convey the characters’ emotions was remarkable. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their captivating performance keeps you glued to the story.
