The novella from Clive Barker which inspired the Hellraiser series is just as uninhibited and frightful as the movies and then some. I knew Clive Barker was a writer but what I didn’t know was that he is a damn good one. The novella gives the reader more insight into the Schism than the first Hellraiser movie, which will enthrall the fans. The narrator performed admirably and made the recording come to life. I will listen again.
