obviously a lot of readers aren’t intelligent . Amazon really needs to stop letting self-published authors charge for their work when it’s this unpolished. This series could be good if it actually had an editor, but the inconsistencies are just too much to ignore. The ages of all the main characters change throughout the series, which is impressive considering only 35 days have passed in the story’s timeline. Beyond that, the basic logic is nonexistent. Walter is living in a cabin in a National Forest, yet he’s supposedly hunting 50 miles from home. How exactly is he dragging a deer 50 miles back through the woods? It’s physically impossible and completely shatters the realism of the setting. If an author can’t be bothered to track their own characters’ ages or understand basic geography, they shouldn’t be asking readers to open their wallets. These kinds of logical gaps make the entire series feel like a waste of money. Amazon is just enabling a market full of ‘rough drafts’ that should be posted for free on a feedback forum, not sold as professional literature.
