Matt Dinneman weaves humanity, far future and near-future tech, action without glancing away (but nothing like the amplification table), and critique of governments and economic systems in a thematically similar way to what he’s done and is doing with DCC, but in a standalone story. Highly recommend.

The narration is excellent. Travis Baldree was a great fit, and the collab with Matt Hays was a perfect split. If you’re a DCC fan you’re going to hear The Maestro and Mr. Gonzales is Raul. Whenever I consider narration compared to reading the book I ask if it was neutral, negative, or an improvement. With DCC, Jeff Hays’ performance brings it to an entire other level. With this book, same thing, the narration makes it even better.
