This book completely lives up to the hype, and somehow still caught me off guard.

On the surface, it feels so simple and unassuming, but it unfolds into something deeply layered, emotional, and incredibly meaningful. This story doesn’t try too hard, and that’s exactly what makes it so powerful.

Sybil is one of those characters who stays with you. She frustrated me, made me laugh, broke my heart – and somehow, through all of it, I loved her more for her flaws. She felt so real, so human, so achingly complex.

This book made me feel everything. It’s quietly beautiful, tragically so at times, and one of those rare reads that lingers long after you’ve turned the last page.

An easy 5⭐️ read for me
