I started the book looking forward to a delightful book. It won awards, it was well received by most listeners. I listened for an hour and a half and just couldn’t continue it was so boring, all letters going back and forth and of course including the addresses of the receivers, I thought I must be missing something and I read one review that said it’s really slow at the beginning but hang on it gets really good! So I thought, I’ll listen again and perhaps my first impression will change to delight! Nope, it is boring! I don’t care how many awards it received, if you can’t engage my interest in the first two hours, don’t expect me to continue!!

I have been a faithful audible customer for years and years, this is not interesting two hours into the book! If you want a book that catches your interest from the start I can identify a couple hundred, this is not one!
