Clean, interesting story with intrigue. Solid 4 stars. This story had a great plot and sub plot.
The female narrator was very good. The male narrator has a beautiful voice but executed the MMC too monotone. It seems as if it’s part of his character’s personality but it came off as bored at times.
The FMC personality tends to be whiny. She has good reason to be miserable but the facts why are unnecessarily repeated over and over. It’s a relief when she finally grows a spine.
Despite the negatives, it’s a decent, clean story. I’d say it’s worth listening to as a free book but I wouldn’t purchase it
