I have listened to numerous Jennifer Peel books and have always enjoyed them. However, this one just made me mad. The storyline was triggering for some old baggage that I thought I had unpacked. I had to stop listening several times because I was more mad than the main character. Somewhere around chapter 4 she gets ambushed and I couldn’t believe she didn’t walk out. This book and Trouble in Loveland are just not realistic. I did listen to the end and our romantic interest was just not remorseful enough. Sorry Jennifer I don’t think I like this one.
