I’m a bit scared to write a review of this book for fear of getting on Mr. Blackwell’s bad side..
it’s like Monty Pythons Holy Grail meets the Usual Suspects, meets The fellowship of the ring.
The story was original and funny told in a Dick Tracy kind of narration. Even the raunchy scenes were laced with self deprecating humor(my personal favorite). I was entertained from start to finish.
Mr. Kafer narration was absolutely perfect. I can not imagine anyone else in this role. His characters were distinct, and very recognizable. His tone and ability to deliver these lines with the “matter of fact” precision without laughing is a testament to professionalism (although I’d love to hear the unedited recordings).
I can’t wait for a follow up book!!
