I’m writing this review late, after finishing the entire DCC series up to this date (June 2026). Dropped off on writing as I tore through the books, which says a lot about the level of enjoyment I have had with them.

The setting is really getting turned on its head (in a good way). This is the first time that Carl and the other Crawlers have had a chance to really stick it to those who have been out for them, and it is a fabulous story of retribution and revolution. In the world that we live in at the moment, the story hits close to home, as it should. Highly recommended.
