I never really thought much about algorithms self driving cars (ie Tesla) and war machines (ie drones) use. this book forces the thought exercise of thinking about it! yikes! if you think about it, the AI decisions make the practical/logical/efficient choice, but do they lack emotional, ethical, moral input? How can binary 1’s and 0’s make the humane decision, even when it might not be the most “practical” and/or cost effective.
