Ash does such a beautiful job of blending darkness and hope in this mafia romance read. A well written and captivating read / listen that is wonderfully narrated by Foster and Leatherman who just bring our main characters to life in a powerful way. Main characters are Aria and Giovanni. I love Aria’s sass, even when handing on by a thread, even when seemingly broken beyond repair, she still holds on to the good. Giovanni is such a wonderfully complex character with his serious business side and yet the happiness and calm Aria brings him is a wonderful contrast to the persona he displays to others around him. I love that while he did in fact save her multiple times, she unbeknownst saved him right back. Great balance of dark and danger, suspense and also hope, sweet and steamy romance and a beautiful HEA. Well written and smooth flowing, this storyline delivers, and I can’t wait for more from Ash!
