When it comes to romance, I like mine dark; the grittier and hotter, the better. I get a rush out of the unpredictability and the suspense; it literally gets my heart pounding, wondering what will be next. To Crave and Covet: Leave Me Breathless definitely delivered; it’s was sensual, steamy with strong segments of BDSM and rough play. The storyline is deliciously dark, mysterious, violent, intense, suspenseful, exciting, and wholly riveting. As the story unfolded, I found myself completely enthralled by the highly complex characters and intricate events. As for the ending, it was fantastic; the missing pieces came together with a possibility of more.
Rachel Blake has weaved a captivating tale, taking her readers/listeners on an exceptionally twisted ride. She has broken boundaries with her phenomenal character development and dark imagination. Without a doubt, I will continue to either read or listen to more of her work.
The narration by Blair Dade, Sean Duregger, and Craig A Hart was spot on! They slipped into each character, capturing the intensity of the emotions and chemistry, further engaging the listeners. All in all, To Crave and Covet: Leave Me Breathless was a gratifying listen, one I’ll highly recommend.
