This is a wonderful book – very well written and beautifully performed. The letters work to take you inside Sybil’s life, her history, and definitely her mind. As I also am an old-school letter writer, it’s a poignant reminder of what we’re losing when all our correspondence is done via text or email. We’ve lost the personal touch and this novel embraces it. I was captivated by the book, moved by her guilt, and pleased with her discoveries. Definitely recommend it.
