Most of the characters in this story are alright. They make some questionable choices but for the most part they’ve got their heads on straight and their priorities in line.
The mom, though, was one of the most annoying main characters I’ve ever read/heard. She was on top of things one minute but then making incredibly stupid, incredibly obvious mistakes the next and whining about the outcome. And she was WAY too accepting of the situation when she gets screwed over.
The whole story was just frustrating.
