This book felt as if it was almost autobiographical because it was so gritty and raw. The emotions the characters feel were brought to life by amazing narration!
David Allen Vargo portrayed each character in this book in such a way it almost felt like I was listening to the person telling me about their life instead if just listening to a book.
As someone who lived through the 80s and remembers the AIDS epidemic and all the fears surrounding those early years, I had such empathy for both of these men.
