I listened to the audiobook of Love, Mom and thoroughly enjoyed it. The story kept me engaged with its many unexpected twists and turns. I especially loved the emotional reunion between mother and daughter at the end, although it was heartbreaking that they were separated for so many years.
My heart ached for McKenzie, who spent most of her life with cruel people she wasn’t even related to. It was difficult to imagine everything she endured while being kept from her true family. The story did a great job of showing the lasting impact of those choices and secrets.
The ending was satisfying, with justice finally catching up to those who deserved it. The drug dealer got his revenge, and Diane ultimately faced the consequences of her actions as well. Overall, this was an emotional and suspenseful story with a happy ending that made the journey worthwhile. I would definitely recommend it to readers who enjoy family dramas, mysteries, and stories of hope and resilience. 📚❤️
