I’m not much of a factual reader and prefer my books to be fiction, as life is hard and it’s nice to escape, but this author’s work has managed to bring me away from every day life and become immersed in the tales he weaves. He has a way with words that are effortless and makes for a very entertaining and interesting read.

This one is no different. It’s a collection of stories, well memories would best describe them, about a past time that he is passionate about. Memories of years and people gone by but all with the same passion for this hobby. I’m not much of a fan of fishing, nor do I know much about it, but these little tales were entertaining and I enjoyed listening to them. They didn’t grab me as much as some of this author’s previous work but it was still worth a listen.

David Stifel was amazing reading this. He seemed to enjoy the book and it showed through his narration. His tones and cadences were awesome and he really brought the anecdotes to life.
