this book was an amazing stand alone book in a wonderfully written series by several top notch writers. this book takes you from very many lows where it looks like evil has overcome and some time it does. the most heartbreaking plot was a very precious little girl named alli who had many nightmares screaming “bad man hurt man” it really broke my heart. Her dad is being investigated for being an accomplice to a killer and so many things. he is looking for a friend from Afghanistan to provide his proof he is innocent but the man cannot be found. Will they find the truth before he is arrested and he loses his little girl? Will the bad man and hurt man be found? so many other questions surround this book and the books before it. buy it, buy them all. they are amazing by themselves but together they are unforgettable
