After reading plenty of different authors in this genre (there are many) some better than others I’ve got to say that this is a great series!
It’s got its typical ups and downs like any book good and bad. What sets this book apart is that at no point have I said to myself BS that wouldn’t happen or couldn’t. There isn’t any Ex whatever good guy with all these skills who never seems to die.. There also isn’t one person or group that just so happens to get along and is coming after said good guy…
This book feels like it could be some people account of actual events. It’s not over the top with I just so happen to have this or that.
It’s obviously fiction but well written well thought out and very much well read.
On another note
I’m always reading these reviews and Kevin Pierce comes up quite a bit..
I happen to really enjoy his narration in this book and just about any other I’ve heard him read (I have quite a few)!
Not only does he have a great voice for any genre he really captures the emotion of a story.
Some say he only has one pitch and while I’ll agree he has a low voice he’s really good at having a different tone, manner of speaking, or accent to distinguish each character as their own..
