Yeah it’s very disappointing that such a great series has such a stinker. If you’re a Christian you should not purchase this book due to the blasphemous aspects, just cliff notes this one and move on. It’s nuanced as the aliens rendition of culture but it crosses a line beyond acceptable. Also there’s a stretch with heavy breath sounds that aren’t edited out, I think it’s a punched in set of lines that got missed in editing.
