This was about a completely fascinating case that seems too crazy to have really happened…yet it did. The book is written in conjunction with the defense lawyer, which provided some great insight into how he handled the case and eventually brought about true justice for the victim. It was well written and insightful.
My only complaint was how very frustrating it was hearing about the police’s complete incompetence during the course of their investigation. It was totally maddening and I almost stopped listening at one point because I was getting really upset. I’m glad I stuck with it, though, because the ending is very satisfactory.
All in all, a great read about a super interesting case.
