I have enjoyed the first two books. The third in the series is almost all filler.
The cake jokes are stale and dried up. The banter is now beyond repetitive and predictable. Half of each chapter is just recycled dialogue.
Story lines seem thin and lack world building or descriptions. Other than the lake and trees described in book two upon entering a new continent, the reader has been left in the dark to what anything looks like.
