This is the second book/first series I’ve read/listened to by Piper James. Once again, these are on the shorter side. This felt like a more serious story. Miles and Roxy were trying to stay friends only for this best friend’s fiancé’s best friend trope. I absolutely loved Miles. Roxy just didn’t want to ruin the friend group if things went awry. Miles and Roxy were perfect together though. A great HEA. I look forward to more from this author.
Cecily Foster and Josh Innerst are excellent narrators! Once again they give us an emotional performances that had the audiobook rolling like a movie in my head. Perfection!
