This was a funny romance that had me laughing out loud several times. It fell a little flat for me when Dirk/Adam and Raine eventually got together and had sex, Their speech and the description was rather raunchy and seemed to me a little out of the humorous character of the rest of the book. I would listen to it again for the laughs, but I’d skip the last 30 minutes of the book.
The narration was good. Elise hit all the humorous notes spot on, and the delivery was smooth, relaxed, and perfectly paced.
